What stays on your device

Roll This saves your rolls, roll log, settings and characters in your browser's storage on that device. They aren't sent anywhere. A character you export goes only where you save the file. Everything stays until you delete it in the app or clear rollthis.app's site data in your browser.

What reaches rollthis.app

Only the license key you type to unlock Roll This+. It's checked by rollthis.app with Polar, the store that sells Roll This+, along with the kind of device and the day (like “Android phone, added 2026-10-25”). That label names the device on your Polar purchase page, so you can see and remove your devices. The device keeps the key in its storage and has it checked again while Roll This+ is open and online, at most about once an hour. A cookie keeps Roll This+ open in between. Offline, Roll This+ keeps working for up to 14 days without a check, then opens the free dice roller until it can check again.

That cookie and the saved key are needed for Roll This+ to open, and are used for nothing else.

Cloudflare hosts the site. To deliver it, Cloudflare handles each visit's network address and time, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Buying Roll This+

Roll This+ is sold through Polar (polar.sh), the merchant of record: Polar takes the payment, charges and pays any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt. You buy on Polar's checkout page, under Polar's buyer terms and privacy policy.

Polar collects your email address and payment details to sell to you. Your card details stay with Polar and its payment processor, and Roll This never sees them. Polar shares your order with us (your email address, the name and billing address you gave, and what you bought) so we can help with support and refunds. We use it only for that. We don't sell it, and we don't send marketing.

One license key works on up to 3 devices at a time. To use it on another, first remove one on your Polar purchase page.

Refunds

• Price. Roll This+ costs $4.99 (US dollars), paid once. Sales tax or VAT is added where it applies, and shown at checkout before you pay.
• 14 days, for any reason. Within 14 days of buying, write to support@rollthis.app from the email address you bought with, or include the order number from your receipt, and you'll get a full refund, tax included.
• How it's paid back. Through Polar, to the way you paid. Your bank decides how soon it shows.
• What happens to your key. A refund turns your license key off. A device unlocked with it goes back to the free dice roller after its next check online, which happens while Roll This+ is open, at most about once an hour. A device that stays offline goes back after 14 days without a check. Your characters stay saved on the device.
• None of this limits any rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Your choices

• Remove everything from a device: clear rollthis.app's site data in your browser's settings. This also removes a saved license key from that device.
• Remove a device from your license key: on your Polar purchase page, linked from your receipt email.
• See, correct or delete what we have about you: write to support@rollthis.app. Polar keeps the purchase records that tax law requires, and you can also ask Polar directly.

Children

Roll This isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
